British Literature Monthly

Monarch British Literature is a semester-long, online Christian homeschool elective that surveys the rich literary tradition of Great Britain. Students read and analyze works from classic authors such as Chaucer, Shakespeare, Milton, and the Romantic and Victorian poets, as well as modern voices.

Lessons explore historical context, literary structure, and the influence of Christian thought on literature. Through guided analysis and biblical reflection, students learn to evaluate ideas and themes with discernment while appreciating the beauty and complexity of British literary heritage.
