English I

Monarch English I is a full-year, online Christian homeschool course that develops foundational high school language skills through grammar, literature, and composition. Students review parts of speech, sentence structure, and usage while building confidence in writing paragraphs, essays, and reports.

The course features poetry, short stories, nonfiction, and drama—including Christian and classic literature—to enhance comprehension and analysis. Students strengthen writing skills through assignments focused on organization, clarity, and purpose, preparing them for higher-level academic communication.
